What is Matrix Energetics?
Here's the definition offered by Richard Bartlett on their website:
"Matrix Energetics is a powerful consciousness technology that provides for instantaneous and lifelong transformation at the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels. Based upon widely-known principles of Quantum Physics, Matrix Energetics taps into the morphic field of infinite potential and provides easy access to infinite possibilities for all who choose to participate. "
I really can't explain what Matrix Energetics is, because I can only use what is in my perceptual field, and therefore each one of us would have a unique definition. But for purposes of this blog, the quantum view of reality is that there are infinite possibilities in existence, and time & space are illusions so it's just a matter of aligning with the reality you want. Also, there is no physical reality (atoms are infinitesimally small and separated by vast amounts of empty space, so we're all really just empty space; physicality is an illusion); rather all of life is just patterns of light & information, and using your consciousness, you can manipulate these patterns to manifest what you want.
So much of Matrix Energetics is about coming from the heart (not head) and returning to being like a child. Or, put another way, using the left-brain is limited, and using the right-brain opens you up to vast amounts of information.
When you ask for information about a problem or issue, the world speaks to you & provides all the information & guidance required - we've just learned to shut it off by being in our logical minds. But when you "drop down into the heart" the world comes alive, and playing by using your imagination you get results. It sounds simple but it works. I highly recommend taking a seminar; I participated in Level 1 & 2 back in January of 2011 and it was incredible!!!! About 200-300 people all in a room (typically a hotel banquet room) with a stage up front. Bartlett and his assistant lead the seminar, which includes some basic science along with "techniques" to get you out of the left brain into the playful, wise, aware right brain; you experiment (or play) with two-pointing, parallel realities, frequencies, time travel, etc. Many from the audience are chosen to be worked on by Bartlett or his assistant, which is where miracles occur, as they "pop" the person into a new reality: bones are straightened, bodies are aligned, pain is released, all with a light touch. Nearly everyone falls back - looks like evangelical healing! - but it's actually that new patterns of light & information are entering their consciousness proving too much for the left-brain to handle so they fall back. In partner exercises, I fell once and felt extremely woozy twice.

The Level 1 seminar has a free introduction on Friday night, then goes for Sat & Sun approx 9am-5:30pm. Level 2 is on Monday from 9-5:30pm. Since you cannot take Level 2 on its own, it's worth it to register for both Level 1 & 2 (you won't want Level 1 to end anyway :-)
There are usually a couple hundred people in a seminar, so I advise you get there early to get a good seat. Richard Bartlett is on stage with Melissa Joy and sometimes his daughter or son (Richard & Melissa have tons of charisma!). You are given a booklet with notes, but it's advisable you either bring an additional notebook, or at least a pen to write in the booklet provided. The seminar is very entertaining, and you will slowly get out of your left brain into your right brain where you begin to see life VERY differently (and probably the way you perceived as a child).
Bartlett explains the science, while he & Melissa (and his daughter if she's there) call people up on stage for miraculous healings (you see plently of these Friday night). It looks like faith healing, as Bartlett & Melissa barely touch the body yet people fall backwards and remain lying on stage for quite a while; actually, though their consciousness is being altered which is too much for the left brain to handle, so they collapse. I was skeptical at first, but I did collapse during one of the practices, and got extremely woozy during another. (And yes, you do frequently break up into small groups to practice the teachings)
I have been able to do healings on friends & family, but you need a certain number of course hours to do this professionally, and I'm not nearly there yet.
